Foreside Hockey Training Academy

An all new, personalized sport specific strength and conditioning program designed for players at the squirt, peewee and bantam levels. Developed and administrated by Trainer/Coach & Hockey expert Mike Carmody. Focus on introducing safe and effective training habits to promote good health, injury prevention, and sportsmanship.

Our structured sessions will run once a week for 60 minutes, scheduled to coordinate with team practices at FIC or CBA. Each workout will consist of strength, speed and agility as well as flexibility, with a focus on hockey specific exercises done with proper technique. Sessions will be age specific, e.g. squirts will train with squirts.

Our mission is to provide players with effective, age-appropriate workouts and the tools necessary to succeed in off-ice training. All Casco Bay travel team members qualify for the program and the cost is INCLUDED in your 2016-17 hockey registration fees.

Foreside Hockey Academy sessions will take place at Foreside Fitness & Tennis, located steps away from Casco Bay Arena and Family Ice Center at 196 Route One in Falmouth. Foreside Fitness offers a state of the art fitness facility with cutting edge apparatus and programs, supported by certified fitness professionals.
