Wellness coaching can help bring about lasting lifestyle change. When you hire a coach, you’ll develop an alliance based on trust, clear communication, and confidentiality. The coach is an ally who will help you see possibilities as you co-create a plan based on your agenda. Together you will map out specific steps to establish SMART goals: specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, and time bound.
The coaching process tracks steps and goals that are based on agreements between the two of you, and it builds accountability to self for successful change. Your coach may provide tools for self-reflection, action planning, and weekly tracking, as well.
We know from the study of human behavioral change that it takes 12 weeks to establish a new behavior or break an old habit. At Foreside Fitness, you and Chris will co-create a program with a time frame to suit your needs and style. Coaching may focus on one of several life areas, such as physical wellness via exercise programming, nutrition, or personal training. Or your plan may focus on ways to reduce stress, nurture social connection, or enhance life balance for greater purpose and fulfillment. The New Year is full of possibilities!
