Personal Trainer

After more than ten years in the technology sector as a software engineer, Jeff decided to embark on a journey of inner discovery and a reconnection with nature. One of the outcomes of this journey has been to become a certified personal fitness trainer. Jeff has always been active in sports and outdoor activities and enjoys teaching others so it seemed that becoming a trainer was the next logical step in life. He became an ACE Certified Personal Trainer in the spring of 2015.

Jeff believes that each client deserves an effective and unique fitness plan that will help them achieve their specific fitness goals. He is confident training speed and agility, resistance, and cardio. Jeff can also design sport-specific programs for baseball and soccer players.

Additional classes as an undergraduate student included Strength and Cardiovascular Conditioning, Intro to Personal Fitness Training, Theory and Technique of Coaching Baseball and Softball, and Theory and Technique of Coaching Soccer.

In addition to time in the gym, Jeff enjoys mountain biking, hiking, and canoeing. Jeff also plays soccer year round as a goal keeper and baseball, where he can usually be found prowling the middle infield as a short stop.
