The sun is shining and the grass is green(ish) and it finally feels like spring! Along with the sunshine comes vitamin D, something we often lack throughout the winter months.. Here is a quick summery as to what we can take steps towards doing now that the sun IS shining:
During the months of February – November:
-15-30 minutes of mid-day sun (15 for those with lighter skin, 30 for darker)
-OR 4,000 IU supplemental vitamin D2 daily
Get outside; breathe the fresh air! Your body will thank you.
