What is one thing we all have in common, that’s amount never changes? TIME. We all have 24 hours in a day, but how we use Cartoon_Running_Clockthat time can make a big difference!

For this month’s fit tip, let’s begin to harness our time and schedule by doing something active. Be it a walk with a friend, a workout in the gym, or a Tennis clinic with one of our Tennis Pros, intentionally scheduling activity in our days helps to ensure that we move more.

In today’s ever growing sedentary culture, it is important of us to be intentional with incorporating activity into our daily lives. Not only do we burn less calories when we are less active, but sitting too often can lead to stiff and sore muscle, which in turn can effect posture. Every bit of physical activity helps!

So for this month, on a relaxed day of your choosing set aside 5-10 minutes and map out your schedule for the week. Make an “Activity Appointment” with yourself! By doing this, you will be one step closer to living a healthier lifestyle.
